Day Camp officially started yesterday! I was picked up at 7am from my hotel and rode with Chan to pick up some of the kids.
Our first stop included the pick up of 5 or 6 kids - all of whom share one room.
Then, we made our way back to the GRACE FRC, picking up a couple of others along the way.
We arrived at the FRC at little before 9am.
The staff was busy checking in the kiddos so I managed to do a very quick Facebook LIVE to let the kids say hi. Not all of the kids had arrived when I took this video - we ended up with 33, I think.
After check-in, and a quick orientation, everyone came inside for a Bible story, led by Mai. There's a live video available on our Facebook page.
Then, the kids split into smaller groups to do an activity that went along with the Bible story. I managed to get a few snaps of them hard at work!
AumAim (pictured) was especially proud of her work and rushed over to show me!
A few of the older kids helped out in the kitchen, preparing lunch with Noi. The food was delicious, obviously! If you've ever had Noi's cooking, then you know!
