Teen Leadership Program Launches in Millen

When we (the GRACE team) first met with local pastor Brad Asbury about starting GRACE Millen, we had lots of plans. Our meetings consisted of lots of brainstorming on what we envisioned for GRACE Millen. Some plans we could immediately jump into, while some would take extra planning. Some plans were short term, while others were long term.

One of the things we discussed was a teen leadership program - a program designed to pour into the youth of the community, building leaders who are community minded and who could carry on the mission of GRACE.

Today, we will hold our first GRACE Ambassador Teen Leadership meeting with our inaugural team.

This group of students will have the opportunity to engage in and lead community events, participate in trips and conferences, and so much more!

We will also be utilizing John Maxwell's The 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader book.

Our goal is to build strong leaders within our community of youth and instill in them the mission GRACE so that they can become voices and advocates.

We are so excited to get this program up and running!

If you would like to contribute to this program you may do so by visiting https://www.globalreliefassociation.com/ and click DONATE or by texting GRACEMILLEN to 44-321. Checks can be made out to GRACE (just write "Millen" in the memo field) and sent to PO Box 513, Millen, Ga 30442.
